Il mondo dell’elettrico si affaccia anche sul mercato della manutenzione dei campi in terra rossa e lo fa con il primo rullo a doppio cilindro. Silenziosità e zero emissioni sono il biglietto da visita del DART 2.0 che è anche compatto e maneggevole.
1. Greenetiks
L’Azienda nasce a Udine nel 2016, si occupa di risparmio energetico per strutture pressostatiche attraverso il sistema PRESS, di manutenzioni per campi da tennis ed impianti sportivi. Per semplificare le manutenzioni dei campi in terra battuta ha realizzato l’ARCUT 2.0, macchina che frantuma la terra rossa, e il DART 2.0, che è un rullo elettrico.
2. Cosa offre il mercato italiano, in termini di rulli per campi da tennis?
Il mercato propone quattro tipologie di rullo: manuale, motorizzato con operatore a terra, motorizzato con operatore a bordo e monocilindro elettrico.

Il DART 2.0 è composto da pochi elementi e tutti prodotti in Italia, quindi reperibili con facilità.
8. Peso del DART 2.0 a vuoto e a pieno carico
Il rullo pesa 350 kg a vuoto e 450 kg a pieno carico quando il cilindro principale viene riempito d’acqua.
9. Numero di cilindri e dimensioni del DART 2.0
I cilindri sono 2. Il cilindro posteriore è quello con volume maggiore. Il cilindro anteriore, nettamente più piccolo, funge anche da stabilizzatore. Entrambi sono larghi 70 cm. Lo scafo del rullo è di 90 cm di larghezza, 144 cm di lunghezza e 90 cm di altezza. Il DART 2.0 ha le braccia di manovra che si possono piegare portandolo a soli 80 cm di lunghezza. Le dimensioni sono quindi perfette per entrare con semplicità all’interno dei campi da tennis senza dover smontare recinzioni. La stessa cosa vale nel caso si necessiti il suo utilizzo all’interno di una struttura indoor fissa o semi permanente come un pressostatico.
10. Trasportabilità del DART 2.0
È possibile trasportarlo con semplicità facendolo entrare all’interno di un mezzo usando rampe che non superino il 15% di pendenza. Oppure con una gru, sfruttando i 2 ganci per sollevamento di cui è provvisto.
11. Velocità di esercizio del DART 2.0
La velocità è regolabile attraverso un potenziometro presente sul braccio di manovra. Può arrivare a 3,6 km/h di velocità massima.

Motore brushless da 700 Watt di potenza con trasmissione a catena.
13. Tipo di batterie, durata e tempi di ricarica del DART 2.0
Il rullo è dotato di batterie al piombo a 24 Volt, le stesse che si usano per le auto, con vita media di 4 anni. La durata di esercizio è dalle 4 alle 6 ore. Le batterie si ricaricano in 12 ore con caricabatterie da 5 Ampere fornito in fase di acquisto. Opzionale è invece il caricabatterie da 10 Ampere per una ricarica completa in 5 ore, acquistabile con un costo extra di € 70.
14. Custodia e manutenzione del DART 2.0
Teme la pioggia e va tenuto in luogo riparato. Non necessita di particolari manutenzioni ma va tenuto pulito perché per natura, la polvere di terra rossa si insinua da tutte le parti. Si consiglia di ricaricare le batterie almeno 1 volta al mese se il rullo non viene usato per tanto tempo. La catena va ingrassata dopo un minimo di 50 utilizzi.
15. Costo e spese di trasporto
Attualmente viene venduto a € 5.100 IVA esclusa. Le spese di trasporto in Italia sono di € 150 per le isole e € 80 su terra ferma.
16. Noleggio e noleggio operativo
È possibile noleggiarlo settimanalmente con un costo di € 350 trasporto escluso. È possibile avere il noleggio operativo a 12 o 24 mensilità.

The world of electrics enters the clay court maintenance market with the first double cylinder roller. Silence and zero emissions are the big pros of the DART 2.0 which is also compact and easy to handle.

The company was founded in Udine (Italy) in 2016, deals with energy saving for pressostatic structures through the PRESS system, maintenance for tennis courts and sports facilities. To simplify the maintenance of clay courts, it has created the ARCUT 2.0, a machine that crushes clay, and the DART 2.0, which is an electric roller.
2. What does the market offer in terms of tennis court rollers?
The market offers four types of roller: manual, motorized with operator on the ground, motorized with operator on board and an electric single-cylinder roller.

The roller weighs 350 kg empty and 450 kg fully loaded when the main cylinder is filled with water.

There are 2 cylinders. The rear cylinder is the one with the largest volume. The significantly smaller front cylinder also acts as a stabilizer. Both are 70 cm wide. The roller hull is 90 cm wide, 144 cm long and 90 cm high. The DART 2.0 has maneuvering arms that can be folded, bringing it to just 80 cm in length. The dimensions are therefore perfect for easily entering tennis courts without having to dismantle fences. The same thing is true if its use is needed within a fixed or semi-permanent indoor structure.
10. Transportability of the DART 2.0
It is possible to transport it easily by placing it inside a vehicle using ramps that do not exceed a 15% slope. Or with a crane, using the 2 lifting hooks it is equipped with.

The speed is adjustable via a potentiometer on the maneuvering arm. It can reach a maximum speed of 3.6 km/h.

13. Type of batteries, duration and charging times of the DART 2.0
The roller is equipped with 24 Volt lead acid batteries, the same ones used for cars, with an average life of 4 years. The operating duration is 4 to 6 hours. The batteries recharge in 12 hours with the 5 Ampere charger supplied with the product. The 10 Ampere battery charger for a complete charge in 5 hours is optional and can be purchased at an extra cost of € 70.
14. Storage and maintenance of the DART 2.0
It fears rain and should be kept in a sheltered place. It does not require particular maintenance but must be kept clean because by nature, clay dust creeps in from all sides. It is recommended to recharge the batteries at least once a month if the roller is not used for a long time. The chain must be greased after a minimum of 50 uses.

It is currently sold for € 5.100 excluding VAT.
16. Rental
It is possible to rent it weekly at a cost of € 350, excluding transport. It is possible to have an operational rental for 12 or 24 months.
